Albuquerque Railyard

The Albuquerque Railyards once served as a critical service hub for Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe trains passing through Albuquerque.  It now stands as a cultural opportunity, with seasons as a farmers market and occasional movie set.  There is also a quirky museum up the road, in one of the old machine buildings.

There is something about the light here that captivates me– simultaneously warm and shaded, the air both still and alive.
